About this item
- Application: PRO-Fit flare bits create precise and fast 45° flares in copper and aluminum linesets for mini-split HVAC units; the spinning hex bit forms a standard 45° flare, without splits, burrs, blemishes or uneven edges that typically cause flare fitting connection leaks
- Quick & Easy Use: Tip guide the flaring bit into the tube and forms a standard 45° flare; Flaring kit is easy to use and creates a flare quickly and with precision
- Convenient: Burnishes flare surface, reducing the risk of leaks; color-coded hex bits for easy ID; standard 1/4"" hex shank fits directly into most power tools without an adapter
- Specifications: Includes sizes 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" & 3/4"; recommended for copper and aluminum linesets, mini-split HVAC units and any applications requiring a 45° flare; works with 2,000 RPM+ drills and drivers stopper ensures a consistent length of the flare surface; hardened, forged steel bit construction reduces wear or breakage
- For the Tradesman: RectorSeal is recognized as a leading provider of quality solutions for the professional trades serving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC/R), plumbing, electrical, and construction markets
