About this item
- VERSATILE 100 GRIT ALUMINUM OXIDE Wheel โ Our 8 inch grinding wheel offers an ideal balance between material removal and surface finish, perfect for sharpening blades, drill bits, chisels and tool grinding.
- BUILT for HEAVY DUTY USE โ Engineered for carbon and tool steel (NOT including tungsten carbide, cemented carbide & ceramic tool), this durable bench grinder wheel handles rust removal, stock blending & precision finishing with fast, reliable results.
- CHEMICAL RESISTANT โ Aluminum oxide construction on 8 inch bench grinder wheels is strong and durable capable of resisting water, oils, acids while delivering clean, precise grinding without excessive burs.
- COMPATIBLE SPECS โ Robust size of 8โณ diameter, 1โ in thickness with 5/8" arbor hole is compatible with most standard 8 inch bench grinders. Also possesses a powerful 3600 maximum RPM to maximize efficiency and sharpening wheel precision.
- 40 YEARS EXPERTS โ POWERTEC manufactures high quality best selling products from grinders, furniture accessories, machines, measuring equipment, and tools. Each product is meticulously designed to exceed your needs and get projects done!
- MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Always inspect the grinding wheel before use. Look for visible cracks, chips, or other signs of damage. Do not attempt to enlarge the arbor hole or modify the wheel in any way. To check for hidden cracks, perform a ring test by suspending the wheel and lightly tapping it with a non-metallic tool. A clear ringing sound indicates the wheel is structurally sound, while a dull sound may signal internal damage and should not be used. Improper use or installation of a damaged wheel can lead to wheel breakage and serious injury. Always mount securely and follow proper safety procedures during use.
