About this item
- Complete 10 ft Kit: Includes three 3.35 ft aluminum retainer sections, three matching 5 cm brush sections, one 10 ft U- and O-profile EPDM rubber seal, and 30 screws. Components can be trimmed to fit doors up to 10 ft wide.
- Dual-Layer Weather Stripping: The flexible rubber seal compresses against the floor while the brush adds a second layer that helps limit drafts, dust, leaves, and loose outdoor debris. It is not designed as a watertight flood barrier.
- Confirm Door Compatibility: Designed for flat-bottom garage doors with a mounting surface suitable for screws. Before ordering, measure the door width, bottom clearance, mounting area, and available space for the approximately 2 in brush.
- Tools and Assembly Required: Installation requires measuring, cutting the aluminum and seal materials, fastening the retainer with screws, and sliding the rubber seal and brush into their channels.
- Winter Installation Tip: Before installation in cold weather, allow the chilled or frozen rubber seal to return to room temperature. A small amount of soapy water inside the channel can help the rubber slide into place. After installation, run a full open-and-close cycle and adjust any rubbing or binding.

If it's not quite right, you can request a return within 30 days of delivery, and Road & Rim will email you return instructions. Change-of-mind returns must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging. There is no restocking fee. Depending on the item's packaged size and weight and how it needs to be collected, a change-of-mind return may have a return shipping or pickup cost. We only deduct the actual cost: we tell you the exact amount and get your OK before arranging a paid return, and if there is no cost, nothing is deducted. Returns for damaged, defective, or incorrect items are free.
