- Compatibility Limitations: Please note that this adapter is not compatible with devices requiring 12V or those powered by a barrel jack or RJ11 connector. This adapter is not compatible with digital mirrors or mirrors with backup cameras.
- Compatible Vehicles: Examples of compatible vehicles for this rearview mirror dash cam include: Tacoma (various trims, 2016-2023), Tundra (various trims, 2018-2021), various Subaru models (2012-2016), and more. - Auto-dimming Requirement: This Dongar dash cam adapter requires an auto-dimming or powered rearview mirror (such as a mirror with garage buttons) to function.
- Ignition-activated Power: This adapter powers your dash cam or other USB-powered device when your vehicle's ignition is ON – it is not intended for parking mode or other constant power applications. By turning on only when your vehicle is on, it eliminates any danger of draining your car’s battery.

Return policy
30-day returns.
If it's not quite right, you can request a return within 30 days of delivery, and Road & Rim will email you return instructions. Change-of-mind returns must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging. There is no restocking fee. Depending on the item's packaged size and weight and how it needs to be collected, a change-of-mind return may have a return shipping or pickup cost. We only deduct the actual cost: we tell you the exact amount and get your OK before arranging a paid return, and if there is no cost, nothing is deducted. Returns for damaged, defective, or incorrect items are free.
